Meet Chelsea Sellers, Legal Assistant
Chelsea Sellers brings a strong background in communication, organization, and client support to her role as a Legal Assistant. Born and raised in South Florida, she understands the pace and close-knit nature of the Keys community and brings a grounded, approachable energy to her work.
Before transitioning into the legal field, Chelsea worked as a 911 Telecommunicator, beginning with the Broward Sheriff’s Office and later with the City of Key West Police Department. In that role, she handled emergency and non-emergency calls, coordinated multi-agency responses, and developed the ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient in high-pressure situations—skills she continues to rely on in her work today.
Chelsea later served as Director of Operations at Arko Plumbing Corporation, where she managed dispatch, reporting, payroll, and internal systems. She also worked as a legal coordinator for an expert witness, preparing reports and maintaining organized documentation in support of case-related work.
Her early career includes experience as a Training Coordinator for a subcontractor at a nuclear power plant, where she managed scheduling and compliance in a highly regulated environment.
Outside of work, Chelsea volunteers with the SOS Foundation, helping prepare meals for elderly individuals and those in need. She enjoys photography, cooking, and traveling, and spends much of her time on the water, embracing the lifestyle that makes the Keys such a special place to call home.
